I'd like to see more photos of those wheels on the car. Your wheels look like potentially nice (read: different) iterations of the ubiquitous twists, which I've always thought look too disco.

Thanks! I think that I like them much better than the stock twists. Are they polished and clear-coated, painted or polished only?

Welcome! Is that a Cayman in your garage too?

Tell us what you think about the driving/handling differences between the 993 and S2.

The pictures were taken by the former owner, so no Cayman for me

The wheels are painted silver and clear coated.

As far as handling, It's not fair to compare as I had Bilstein Escort cup coil overs at all four corners with spherical bearings on all suspension points and 968 MO30 bars with Delrin bushings. To say that the 944 cornered flat is an understatement.
The 993 has a totally different feel, it seems to turn in faster. I will say that it is currently sitting too high and that will have to be addressed very soon.

I'm likin the wheels. Different. I'd really like to see them on your car off of the jackstands.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Hold onto your wallet, the mods aren't cheap.

To me, the wheels are combination of the MY02's and some 996 twists I've seen (turbo only, maybe?).
I like 'em.

Hey, Aribop. I just added a '95 993 to my garage, joining my 968. Well, the 968 is for sale but, hey, if I get lucky nobody will buy it and I'll have TWO Porsches.

Love your car, man. Looks really cool. Congratulations!

Duck, I love the Cashmere interior in yours. I was hoping to get away from black on black, but oh well, what can I do?

I like the additional pictures of the wheels. They look good. I can relate to the ride height as I'm waiting to address mine as well. Hopefully soon.

Welcome over. It sounds like you really had the 951 dialed in-you will notice a large difference in steering with the 993 from the nicely balanced 944/951 stock feel (I can't speak to your setup which has me drooling all over the keyboard.) I still wish I had one of each. The thrill is getting to know the stearing and the throttle stear is much more effective. Have fun and congratulations.

Welcome to the 993 board. You now officially have GAS (a German Air Sucker)!
