Three Wheelin'
I had an 05 TT for a while with my 993 as well.. I unloaded it recently, (the 955) but i loved that thing.. It was soooo fast.. kicked pants on the 993.. and that heated steering wheel.. I was ready to just let it all go, and get totally fat and lazy.. then my east coast sensibilities set in and sold it.. now I throw my snowboard in my 993 and drive up the to mountains euro-style..

I like this combo.
I can't handle subjecting my 993 to the damage from the salt, sand and gravel dumped all over the roads where I live.
driving the Cayenne doesn't replace my 993, but it sure tides me over from november to march.
and as a ski vehicle the Cayenne GTS is a welcome improvement over its predecessors, the X5, Tacoma and Outback.

I have that combo. I have an 06 Cayenne S. Great for me, the wife and the kid on the weekends when we need to go away or just shopping at Costco. Been real handy in the snow and ice lately too. Handles great and feels like an unstoppable juggernaut on the highway. It has everything I want and need in an SUV.

I have an '06 Cayenne Turbo S and a '97 993TT. Love them both. Both Silver as German cars should be. I went from a Range Rover to the Cayenne because it's a little more car like for a daily driver. Don't do much off roading these days.

Can you explain what makes the GTS more fun? I was toying with trading my 04 turbo for an 09 turbo but the GTS has come up a few times. I know they are great look bad sitting low but how does the power compare?
