I have never been a fan of personalized plates. However, when I bought my turbo from out of state my new California plates just didn't fit the car. I settled on.....

not really a vanity plate, got it as a freebie from the DMV. Actually got FAB 5910 handed to me first. I asked the nice lady if FAB 5911 was the next plate in line, and informed her that the actual model designation of the car it was going on...was a 911(well FAB 5993 would have been better, but).
So, a precieved vanity plate, without the extra $$ every year with registration.
I laughed when I first saw the plate, as my wife used to watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Remember, they were known as the Fab 5...so FAB 5911, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Porsche vanity plate: Posted ~a year ago on 911uk.com's "Number plate fixing" thread by our good man, Graham:
I like the way the 'infamous' 993 Speedster has its plate mounted.

Shouldn't cause any issues - just fabricate a couple of brackets to attach to the lower grill a make sure the plate is at 90 degrees to the ground.

My 95 is plated "TUFAST" I,ve had the plate for many years and it,s been on 4 Porsches now. My mother gave me the idea when she told me it doesn,t matter what I drive I always drive too fast.
