If you walk through the Porsche Museum today you will see that same 993 Polizei car, fully restored. It carries the same German plate: S 3033.

There is a guy here in Louisville with one of those. And yes they are a factory edition. I was told that they were used as display models in the dealerships to show the color choices.

HA! I had one as a loaner when one of our POS Audi A4's was in the shop.
