Default OT: Daughter SOLO's not in my 993 (pics)

I know that this is OT, but this is where everyone knows me. My 23 year old daughter is a 2ndLT in the USAF attending pilot training (UPT) at Columbus, Miss. On Friday she took her 1st SOLO in the T-6A trainer, an 1100 HP, 350mph equivalent to our 993's...her sports car. As a proud dad I wanted to share a few pictures.

Rangy,

I assume she is the elder sister to Elizabeth?

You have great kids. I'm officially jealous.

Have a wonderful holiday season coming up.

Congratulations Randy. A proud moment for any parent. But her transport is somewhat faster than our 993's.

Randy, congratulations to both you and your daughter

I can barely remember my first days as a new 2LT, but I know my Dad was proud ...

Hello Randy,

Well done to your daughter! Tell her to stick to the AF for now: civil aviation is moribund!!!

Now for Christmas, get her a track day with an instructor in a RENTED track car. She has excellent hand/eye coordination otherwise she would not be a trainee pilot in the AF... Bet she would like that!!!

Then she might teach you how to drive
