I have to admit, I am getting a kick out of knowing that David Beckham and I have basically the same bodied car. Wish my muscles looked like this though... Are there any other big stars in sports or entertainment that currently drive a 993 other than Seinfeld (unless he's sold his last ones)?
I don't see how him having a tiptronic though makes it any less of a car, or him a wimp for getting one (Trinitony, you out there?). Some of us drive in the city all day long chatting on our cell phones doing business while driving our 993's and I for one would love to have a tiptronic instead of my 6 speed many of those times!

$75k for 25k mile Tiptronic? I know he's a superstar and everything, but that seems like a big premium (makes me think of the John Voight car in Seinfeld). I do like the color though. For me, it would actually be a negative having a previous owner who is a superstar in most cases. Unless it's someone like Seinfeld or Jay Leno that is really into cars, you figure a guy like Beckham might think of it and treat it like a lot of people treat their regular cars (skipped maintenance, sitting out in the sun, etc.). I don't know much about Beckham, he might be a car nut or have a guy that maintains his 'fleet', so I'm just generalizing. Let's just say I wouldn't want to buy a car from Paris Hilton. Contrast that to many Porsche owners that have a passion for driving and taking care of the cars. I'll take the car from a Porsche nut vs. the celeb all other things being equal.

Three Wheelin'
Celebrity owned car status will always be in vogue (Beckham ordered this car directly from Porsche!). The current price doesn't seem that unreasonable for a relatively low mileage 2s car in England owned by a celebrity. I would imagine the prospective purchaser might want to meet the owner AND his wife prior to purchase.
