location for V1 remote display in RHD euro-spec 993
So I recently completed fabbing up a mount to install my Valentine One radar detector above the mirror - which I posted the other week:

I now need to hardwire the V1 but as it is going into a RHD Euro-spec car and the display on the V1 points to the left I've determined that the main display is pretty much useless. So I will be using a V1 remote display (along with a remote mute switch mounted on the wiper stalk) and may also add a remote volue and external speaker unit. Can anyone suggest a good place to mount a V1 in a RHD car? I've thought about inside the ashtray like I have on another car, but the PO mounted a turbo timer near the ashtray. Right now I'm thinking about putting it in the blank area above the right hand ventilation vent.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated!
