I understand moving metal without paint on it, but I think that the process is similar.

Start by doing a web search on "bullseye pick" or "bulls-eye pick" and how to use it. This should give you a good idea of how the paintless dent removal process works.

You need to have access to the back of any dent. A local shop I know uses a metal stick coated with a urethane or vinyl-dip tip that does not scratch paint. The slowly go tap-tap-tap until the dent is back in place. They also use strong shop lights to check the smoothness of the reflection.

I'm sure another Rennlister can add more!

Fairly easy to find the proper tools, but far more difficult to develop the touch required to do outstanding work. There are a lot of butchers out there with a set of tools and a business card. The outstanding guys are difficult to get scheduled around here.

Find an area that has lots of car dealerships in close proximity to each other and then ask the used car department of one of them who they use.
