[Bumping for price reduction; this a GREAT car at $36,000]
Gentlemen,
This is my 6th Porsche in about 15 years. Seems like as soon as I get them sorted out it’s time to for me to move on. I haven’t lowered this one yet, but I have the Bilstein HDs, H&R springs and all the bits and pieces available (not included in sale price) for this car or my next one.
Extremely clean example, owned and dealer serviced locally (Don Rosen-Philadelphia) with all their service records, plus. All maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. up to date …right down to new Lloyd floor mats. There is not a single scratch on the car; only TWO minor rock chips on the fender which have been fixed. Seats are in as new condition. The only thing “wrong” with this car is a repainted front fender …this for a cosmetic fix and undetectable with out a paint meter; Carfax is clean.
- Front bumper changed out to turbo version with protection bar (with body shop photos documenting old perfect bumper coming off)
- headlights upgraded to HID
- radio/CD upgraded to Porsche CDR 220 with Ipod connection behind console cup
- MB quart amplifier mounted out of sight in truck
- MB Quart speakers under original speaker covers, powered sub woofer under passenger seat
- factory wide oval exhaust
- stainless door sills
- rear bumperettes painted to match body
VIN # WPOAA2999SS321721
Options:
X 04
220 locking diff
224 active brake differential
233 tires
331 wheels
398
454 cruise
650 sunroof
Asking $36,000. The car isn’t showroom pristine but its condition/mileage would definitely command more money at one of the Porsche 993 specialist sales outfits ...perhaps $44-45K? Of course, your PPI is welcome at any of Philadelphia‘s many western suburb Porsche shops. PM or email thomasfmontgomery@hotmail.com

Cactus,
Actually, I did have Tim Holt look at the car and he made a very competitive offer. He's a good guy, and when I asked him to take me through his procedure checking out a 993 he had no problem and was incredibly informative about what he looks for and how he goes through a car. If my car doesn't sell fairly quickly Tim just might end up with it in his 993 inventory.

Good memory, Van1 (by the way, I love your sig equipment list). The ending to the story was uneventful. Yes, this is the car that came back from the stereo install with the engine making all sorts of racket; a nearby Porsche mechanic thought it might have been over-reved ...not so, turned out to be only a collapsed lifter that coincidentally gave out while in the installer's bay. I took the opportunity to change out the lifters on that bank and a couple gaskets while I was at it.
