With all of the work that has already been completed, this is a pretty good deal!
That is a lot of costly work that has already been completed.
No affiliation.

Wow! I'm a sucker for V-ram cars with new top ends. Wonder if he has the invoice for the work and who did it? Plus wheels and suspension done.
Again, wow. That can tempt people who aren't even considering black!

Guys,
My car (since 4/02)...same post on member-to-member sales/Pelican/PCA etc. It seems like the 993 board has been overwhelmed with sales postings lately so I skipped it. The top end was done by European Motorsports in Vista. It was done right...upgraded valve guides , new chain rails, rear crank seal etc...(yes I do have that invoice and all maintenance records since new). Mechanically the car is perfect...the interior is nice, wear consistent with a 91k mile car. The only negative is that it suffered damage to the left front fender in its previous life. Phillip Therles in Santee (highly respected euro body shop in San Diego) described the damage as cosmetic. If anyone is interested in more pictures, records, maintenance summary etc...send me a PM or email. PPIs welcomed. Given the current market conditions I think $33k is a fair price. I stumbled across an '06S a few weeks ago and I promised my wife there would be no more collections (she defines collections as more then one).

Just too high, by at least $5K (likely more) for an almost 100K 993 in today's market, IMO.

I was referring to Registration Black. Yeah, that's it.
It's a non-varioram.
Not a fair comparison, IMO

Good point. I've got a similar mileage '98 C4S at a price not too much higher than this... That said, I believe the seller realizes this and the price reflects the fact that he is looking for a buyer, and not a tire kicker (at least, that's what I do).

What are you guys smoking???
Clutch, top-end, suspension....
If the "going rate" for a 100K mile '95 is $25K, you are getting the v-ram, repairs, upgrades, and services for 50-60 cents on the dollar and avoiding the hassle of doing the upgrades yourself.
He's not giving it away but I'd say the price is certainly very fair. Then again, I'm not buying so what do I know.

Makes perfect sense to me that a 90k mile car with all the expensive maintenance done is worth about the same as a 50-60k mile car that WILL need all the expensive maintenance done.
Or you could buy a 90k mile car for $27k and drop $8-10k worth of work into it. That's better?
