Quick math question
Can someone provide the fractional equivalent to 85mm? I've searched online and just find charts that stop in the 25mm range.

Hmm. I searched again and found a comprehensive chart that indicated 3 3/8". That was easy....

SORRY I had to on this one.
An inch is 2.545 cm
so 3 and 11/32 is closest
you will be exactly on 85.09
DIY:
11 / 32 = 0.3437
0.3437 + 3 = 3.343
3.343 x 2.545 = 85.09 mm or 8.509 cm

+1 NA. 2.54. Maybe in France it is 2.540005 (more accurate than 2.54, by .0002%) instead of 2.545.

The CON agreed that an inch is 2.54 cm. France isn't in the Commonwealth of Nations. Go figure.

The google syntax can be even simpler. Try "85mm in inches" in google search.

New math: If I have 1,013 business cards and 725 square feet of roof area, how many cards can I put on the roof before Andreas' neighbors call the police?
