TJ, I suspect that the SF contains a % of ATF fluids due to the redness of the fluid. I remember that my manual E46 BMW series used 100% ATF fluid for the gear box which I thought was weird, but that car shifted perfectly. Of course the Bimmer doesnot have our transaxle design in the 911.
I still have some SF fluids left, not enough for a 993 gear box fill but if anyone wants to take it to analyz please let me know.

Reviving this thread which seemed to be the closest fit...
I was searching locally for Mobil Delvac Synthetic Gear Oil 75w-90 for some weekend work by my mechanic when I learned some info that was new to me (at least). WW Grainger carries this in gallon containers! My local Grainger location didn't have any in stock but the next city over did have some. Here's the catalog page in case anyone is interested; you can call Grainger's 800 number and buy over the phone either for delivery (extra charge) or counter pickup. You do not have to set up an account; they will sell it under an "accommodation account" which means that you pick it up by name and order number.
