Crossover install - need wiring help
I just removed my old tweeter and woofer speakers on my '95 C2 which were just thrashed. Over the weekend I purchased a set of component Boston Acoustics Pro 5 series which come with a crossover for each door. I rewired the new tweeter and woofer to the crossover, that I mounted in the door pocket, without any problems. There are two wires coming from the head unit, one white and the other white/brown. I have to connect these to the signal in/out of the crossover. Does anyone know which wire is +(pos) and which wire is -(neg) ? Or does it matter?

In short it does matter - but wont hurt anything - but it will cause the speakers to run "out of phase"
Test connect and see if you get sound then try and get them into correct phase.
Try connecting both the same and then see if the sound imporves if you "swap" one set over... Bass will be the way you will find out...
