Can you still buy NB hollows from Wheel Enhancement?

I have no idea and have no knowledge of Factory 7.5s in 18" wheels.

7.5s were used on the Boxster and early 996.

The 993 has only used an 8X18 in the front.

This table usually helps sort it out....

8x18 ET52 (Front).......993.362.136.00--19.95 lb.........993.362.136.01--25.57 lb
10x18 ET65 (R-NB)......993.362.140.01--23.36 lb.........993.362.140.04--29.32 lb
10x18 ET40 (R-WB).....993.362.140.00--25.13 lb.........993.362.140.03--31.08 lb

If there is such a small difference btw used hollow and solid spoke twists, get the hollow ones. You can brag about the hollow spokes, and they're lighter. I've got 4 front wheels on my New Beetle Convertible--they're one of my favorite wheels. I bought them new from wheelenhancement, and I liked working with them. They also refurbished one after I curbed it, and they did a great job.

Also, nobody seemed to mention that the Technology hollow spokes are actually two-piece wheels that are friction-welded. Are the solid ones two-piece as well or one-piece?

Thanks for posting these pics--they are very helpful, and I've never been able to tell the difference btw the two visually. Out of paranoia, I had to check my wheels on the Beetle just to make sure that Wheel Enhancement sold me the correct wheels. I almost had a heart attack because I misread your post, and THOUGHT that the smooth spokes were the solid ones, and was about to give them a nasty call, as my spokes are smooth. Crisis averted! Thanks again for the pics!

Can anyone tell me how much the 18" TT stock on a 2002 Carerra would weigh? I'm looking at some aftermarket wheels around the and weight or less... Probably BBS any suggestions?

Agree, they seem to have appreciated way faster than the rest of the car. Original sticker from '98.

Price for set of 993 18" Hollows TT is typically 3X the price of the Solid TT's.

You guys are replying to a nine year old thread. A simple Google search by the new guy would've turned up this site: http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

I just received my COA from Porsche and it states the 18" wheels with Technology rims were an option on my car....so that means I have hollow spokes? I had no idea...
