Default Red head...what do you think?

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of having my wheels painted to match the car....and possibly adding a duck tail spoiler or 993 RS spoilers. What do you guys think? I haven't seen one like it, have you?

..Sorry for the totally lame photo-paint...I hope it gets the point across though

/Doug

I'm not big on the color matched wheels but to each his own. If anything I would get them painted or powder coated black and keep the polished lip.

If I had the cheese I would have multiple sets of wheels to change out whenever the mood struck me....kinda like women and their purses/shoes

I figured I'd get mixed reviews...it's certainly a bold look. I've been pondering it for a while. I'm a big fan of anything retro-RS!

What do figure the refinish/repaint would cost?

I say do it yourself! I'm working on the original wheels that came with the car to paint them black right now. Its time consuming, but fun

I say duck tail and lose the basket handle. Post some pics, we can photoshop it

Welcome home! Body color wheels seem very '80s to me. Solid black is a very updated look on bright colors. Not a fan of the ducktail on later cars.

When I bought my car the previous owner had the Ruf's painted black and polished the lips and the receipt was $800.

It might not look bad, but I'd need to see a better Photochop job.

I think all gloss black (including the lip) would look good if you had black seats. Since you don't, I would go with the red. I agree on the "80's" comment a little, but I think it could look pretty damn cool if the lips were really highly polished. My $.02

Yes on the RS parts, no on the red wheels.
I'd do black centers with silver or polished outer rim, see:

If you do all black, it will look very dull as you won't tell your rims from your tires. At that point you can have the nicest or fugliest wheels and no one can tell...

I am Justin. I did not think I would like, but I think it is different without being garish. +1 on the polished lip though.
And RS all the way ( or turbo )
