Default Filling Holes in Front Bumper

I'm considering filling the holes in the front bumper. Do folks also fill the tow hook hole? Not that I ever intend to use it, but do most people get rid of it so you have a nice clean front tend?

Most everyone only fills the license plate holes. The tow hook cover remains. That is an interesting thought because I would never intend to use it either, but what if 1 time you needed it. If it were filled you would be screwed. I like your line of thinking though it would be a very clean look.

I just my license plate holes filled. Never even thought about the tow hook cover, however.

you will need the tow hook if you ever have a mechanical problem and need to be winched up onto a flatbed trailer. I definitely would not fill it.

However, when I re-paint the whole front end, the silly headlight washers (and maybe the windshield washers) will be gone.

I got rid of the license plate holes and the headlight washer nozzles. Keep the tow hook hole... you may need it... ask me how I know.

Filled the license plate holes only on my car, kept the perfectly gapped tow hook cap in place.

As others here, I had the license plate holes shaved and left the tow hook cover in my new Euro bumpers. I wouldn't get rid of it. As a matter of fact, I am concerned about the rear, where I currently don't have a tow point.

Default tow hook

bart1, I believe your tow hook hole is behind the license plate on the rear bumper.

what about using bumperplugs for the headlight washer holes? i think i remember seeing a car for sale on rennlist that had this done but the pics didn't show very well (maybe that's a good thing?). if we use the plugs for our license plate holes, why not for these?

it would be a cheaper alternative than filling and repainting the front of our fenders...

i'll call bumperplugs and see if this is an option and post.

just heard back from eric...plugs won't fit the headlight washer holes. they are larger than the license plate holes.
