I'm considering filling the holes in the front bumper. Do folks also fill the tow hook hole? Not that I ever intend to use it, but do most people get rid of it so you have a nice clean front tend?

Most everyone only fills the license plate holes. The tow hook cover remains. That is an interesting thought because I would never intend to use it either, but what if 1 time you needed it. If it were filled you would be screwed. I like your line of thinking though it would be a very clean look.

you will need the tow hook if you ever have a mechanical problem and need to be winched up onto a flatbed trailer. I definitely would not fill it.
However, when I re-paint the whole front end, the silly headlight washers (and maybe the windshield washers) will be gone.

As others here, I had the license plate holes shaved and left the tow hook cover in my new Euro bumpers. I wouldn't get rid of it. As a matter of fact, I am concerned about the rear, where I currently don't have a tow point.

what about using bumperplugs for the headlight washer holes? i think i remember seeing a car for sale on rennlist that had this done but the pics didn't show very well (maybe that's a good thing?). if we use the plugs for our license plate holes, why not for these?
it would be a cheaper alternative than filling and repainting the front of our fenders...
i'll call bumperplugs and see if this is an option and post.
