Default CCW 18" C10 Wheels & Michelin Pilot Sport tires

I bought these pristine CCW T10 (not C10) wheels from a fellow rennlister about two weeks ago. Initially, I was looking for a back-up set of wheels for my current BBS RS-GTs. When I received them, I just couldn't believe the condition. They are absolutely pristine, and look like they've never been mounted on a car. Additionally, the Pilot sport rib tires are almost new with at least 80% tread left.

I just can't bring myself to put these wheels on my track ho and rip them up. I'm going to extend the same price that I paid (which I think is a steal) to any other rennlister that wants them.

Here's the initial post by Carrera Mike on 8/10/08. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/447739-selling-my-ccw-wheels.html

They are definitely as described, as can be vouched for by the guys who saw these wheels on my trailer last week at Pocono and yesterday at Thunderbolt.

They are super-light one-piece forged wheels. Fronts weigh approx 19 lbs and rears are 21 lbs.

First guy who wants them can have them for $2200 plus shipping (which is exactly what I paid two weeks ago). These wheels alone are close to 3,000 direct from CCW and then another $1,100 for the tires from Tire Rack.

I'm kicking myself for doing this, but all I really need for back-ups is a beat up set of cup wheels. I also need the $$$ for some work that I have scheduled in November.

Check out the CCW web-site for more details

http://www.ccwheel.com/files/wheelprofiles.php

Fronts are 8.5X18 Offset 50mm / Tires: 225/40/18
Rears are 10X18 / Offset 65mm / Tires: 285/30/18

-Center caps with OEM porsche crest on Billet Alum pieces

I saw these wheels two weeks ago at the Pocono Event. They are without a doubt - pristine. This is a steal...and a stand up thing Glen's doing. He could easily flip these and make some real coin.

+1 for Glen. In addition for those who know Carrera Mike (the original owner of the wheels), he is a stand-up guy as well.

In response to the flood of PMs proposing trades, I am not interested as of now. My season is just about over. I'll look for another back-up set in the Spring. I have more pressing expenses to deal with on my car right now.

I have the 505A's on my 96' C4S and absolutely love them. The quality is excellent and they are very light, (I think mine are about the same weight as my hollow TT wheels and the CCW's are wider.) Whoever buys these can feel confident they are well worth the money.

Wow, great wheels at a great price. I'd buy them for street wheels in a heartbeat if they were WB offsets. But I don't want to mess with spacers on/off when swapping with my new CCW C10's for autox (not to mention wheel stud issue).

Somebody is missing a great deal!

Just FYI (and it may widen the market for the seller), there is no "wheel stud issue" if you use the adapter used by the factory when they fitted 17" wheels (NB offsets) to C2S models. Those adapters bolt to the current studs, and have their own studs for mounting the wheels. You would still need to remove these adapters when swapping wheels of course.

Well, I could put them on the race car. Would anyone take the tires for say $500?

Glenn,

Would these go on a C2S (widebody)? I think Bob's post seems to indicate that spacers would be necessary??

Thanks
