Not sure who I was following home but made for a quick ride.

Thanks to Bob, Arrwin, Neil and Jamieson along with everyone else for sharing the day.

BTW who won the Taste of the track?

PS Ilko, sorry didn't have time to show you the gauge. I thought you had left and as they escorted us out I just noticed you had pulled over but I was trying to follow someone home and didn't want to miss my way.
Ride home was quick indeed...that was me you were following.

That 3.6 of yours is beautiful and man does it move....

No problem Tony, there's always next year Good seeing you!

Does anyone plan to go up on Friday to run with PDA?
Great meeting you, Al.

I would be very careful about doing any DE with PDA. Their tech form is a joke, a 5th grader can forge it. You can bring just about any car to the track - mismatched wheels & tires, leaking oil, coolant, etc. During tech at the track they don't even check if your wheels are on tight. And when the guy in front of you dumps all his coolant at the corner and you spin into the wall, your track season ends with a blast... That's what happened to me at last year's PDA's LRP event.

You have a very nice car Al, go with CVR to Monticello, they also have dates and you know they are diligent and run a top notch event.

Thanks, It is a blast on full boost. Would love to open it up at Monticello. Not like you guys weren't moving along yourselves. Traffic sucked and I had to fight my way through to keep up with you guys, sucks being the caboose but I have the power to make up the lost ground.

I have to say that was one of the finest gathering of cars I have seen in a long time. I guess they had to push us out when we were done in fairness to the members but it would have been nice to have had more time to chat and drool over all the beautiful cars.

I'm a member there and was thinking of coming up on Friday. If so, I'll look you up and say hello. Unfortunately, I was out of the country during this last run. Got back late on Sun afternoon. Sounds like everybody enjoyed themselves, which I'm glad to hear.

So you did make the leap! Congrats!

It is indeed a fantastic track and facility. Those parade laps were such a tease, but I really appreciated the opportunity to get to drive it.

Enjoy it and now I have long-sleeve track shirts for your matching short sleeve.

Yea, I did Arrwin. Glad you enjoyed it. BTW, I get some guest driving passes annually and I haven't used any of them this year. Interested?

Do I go back to the same web site as before to order some long sleeve shirts?

Hey! It was the lead car setting the pace, not me!

I don't know you, but a guest pass would absolutely make my day.

Anyway something could be arranged?

Shoot me a PM if you can't find someone to share them with.

Thanks a lot.

I'll be up there Friday as well...Arrwin, do it!

Let's plan to connect up there as the weather is looking good and the air cooled machines love the cool MMC air.

I'll shoot you both a PM.
