Once again, simple logic prevails.

The only time I crank an engine to build oil pressure before starting is with the initial start-up of a brand new engine on the dyno.

After an oil change on a 911, I simply start it right up,.......

********

If a person were really O/C, one could pre-fill a vertically mounted oil filter, but its not critical at all.
