Default Rear Alignment Question

Hey Everyone,

Two questions regarding rear wheel alignment. My car runs PSS9's and runs slightly lower than RS specs height.

1: Can I adjust the rear camber without adversly affecting the rest of the alignment?

2: What is the maximun amount or rear camber available with stock rear suspension?

Your responses are greatly appreciated....

Regards

1. I'm pretty sure the answer is No.
2. You should be able to get -1.8 to -2.0 camber on the rear without monoballs.

Eric has much more experience with this than I, but you might be able to get a little more without. When I bought my car it was between ROW and RS ride height and was running about -2.3 degrees camber in back (don't recall if there was any more to be had).

I do remember the thing steered like a pig and ate tires for breakfast...

Yes, Dave raises a great point. I'm around RS ride height, so you may get different results since you're lower. Sorry, I blanked on that.

1. yes
2. I think you can get more in the rear, but the fronts limit out at around -1.8(depending on ride height), so going beyond -2.2 or -2.3 in the rear may lead to some handling issues.
