Hey Mike and Tim I agree I was not looking for another cab. period ! ...untill this one came up . First I like it , second it is a Canadian local car , third my cab is a AW and this is a RW
For the record I like high mileage cars because A ) good deals .. but yes be careful to not fall into " you get what you pay for " hole B ) usually lot of the issues have been address with a 100 k miles car than with a 40 to 60 k miles car
C) high miles can work to your advantage in scoring in concours events if your willing to put a lot of hard work and of course $$ .

Louis I would keep the white cab at least for the time being .

One issues with another car is SPACE !!!!!

Cheers Guy

Beautiful cars! I love the RS look of your white one. I have a set of RS wheels, and have been thinking about either a Turbo front bumper, Turbo tail AND front bumper, or the Turbo S tail. Now I'm thinking of the RS splitters and tail as an option, as I already have the wheels. Where in Vancouver were those shots? Is that where the huge mounds of sulfur are? One of my favorite cousins lives there.

As for the blue cab, I love the unique color. I have to ask a dumb question however. As it is a "local" car, why is the odometer in miles, or is it really 100k kilometers, and you just made a typo? If it really does have 100k kilometers, then I'd be more comfortable buying it. BUT, as others have asked, do you really need another 993 Cab? Wouldn't it be nice to buy a different 911, maybe a pre-73 S coupe or Targa S, or maybe a 930 or G50 Turbo look? If, no when I buy a second 911, it will be something different, either a 930 Cabriolet or G50 or 964 Speedster. But that's my opinion, and you obviously have go go with what you want.

The car actually has 160k kilometers = 100k miles .
The white cab pictures were taken at the cannery in Vancouver .

Oh, just wanted to make sure cuz 62k miles would have been great. If you don't buy it, maybe I should convince my Vancouver cousin to buy it as I'm trying to get her, her father, and her sister's husband to get into 911s. It would be great to have a 911 family. I think that if you are really adamant about 993 Cabs and this car turns out to be in good shape after a PPI, then go for it. Otherwise, consider a different vintage 911.

BTW, was it difficult ordering your RS tail? I like how it doesn't have the huge box section for the intercooler, which--don't get me wrong--looks AWESOME on the Turbo and even on a cab, but on a cab, it takes away a little from the sloping back when the top is down. The only thing is that I would have to keep my basket handle as it would not pass inspection in Massachusetts without the 3rd brake light.

The cab, except for the wheels, looks beautiful. Love the color combo with the black top. This car cries out for either 18" Sport Classic II's or 18" Sport Designs.

Enjoy if you decide to get it!

This paticular RS tail I got from MaShaw

Well Tim just got off the phone with the owner two minutes ago ........................... and just like my other p-car purchase , I made him clearly understand the offer I am making is firm if he accepts it great and he does not it is ok too ... so he said he was going camping this weekend and he would think it over and we will talk it over when he gets back Monday .

Personally I think I need to start making room somewhere for another car .

I want to sinerely THANK everybody for their comments because each comments helped so much at arriving at my decision this morning .

Again thanks everyone no matter what the outcome is .

Cheers Guy

I was a "too much $" guy. Let me just say that I support your decision to move forward on the car. Seeing that car in your garage every day in that color will put a smile on your face regardless of the entry fee!
Good luck!

I'm late, but agree the Pep Boy's wheels have to go. Budget in some p-car wheels.

Good luck Guy. It's an excellent color and an excellent price for that car in our market. Somewhat different car but I'm sure you remember how much I got for my cab a couple of years ago...

Good luck Guy.

If space is an issue I'll keep the white one over here for as long as you want!
