Rob, I'm very impressed with your Riviera Race car project-- WOW
A couple of questions for you:
1. Did you put some kind of protective treatment on the bypass pipes? I know someone on here treated his pipes with some kind of heat material that kept the pipes in a more stable temprature to allow the exhaust smoke to flow more freely through the pipes.. Either way, they look really cool now that they are a bit graphite gray .
2. What are those heat exchangers? They don't look OEM to me? Cost? Any hp gains involved?
Thanks and keep up the good work

Mufflers are Supercups, and what you are looking at is stock headers with heat exchangers removed, then coated with DACH X-Pipes. (WB bumper used for initial fitment as seen in pics below:

What an awesome project. I still remember your first pics, completely stock sitting next to your old C2S. I can't tell you how much I'm Jonesing to do a similar build.

Louis,
I recall that picture as well. The pic of the car stock (Guards Red) next to the "after" picture when its complete will certainly be the "end all" of defining the "Slippery Slope."
