Default California ECU?

I recently found out that my '97 C2S has a california ecu. Is this significantly detuned compared to the rest of the country? I don't have the serial number handy as it's sitting in my mechanics shop at the moment..

US 993 N/A & Turbo cars do not differ by state. Each respective year ('95-'96-'97-'98) ECU are the same in each of the fifty states.
