This evening on the way home, I found myself behind a Guards Red, badge delete 996. (The rear spoiler was huge, some variant of a GT or whatever - I'm not up on the various designs.)

After passing it (I was driving the truck, but I still go fast, I guess), I saw it was a facelifted, MY02+ with aerokit and that it was filled with several pretty blonde girls - one even crammed into the back seat.

Knowing that this thread would be useless without pics (and pretty pointless, no matter what) I whipped out my camera, but alas, they turned off on a side street before I could coast back and take a shot.

Anyway, just thought I'd share - and confess that a water pumper captivated me for a few moments.

I would never sell my 993 for a 996 - but I could maybe see adding a 996TT!

Well, 996 = super chill A/C, good MGP, larger interior space, Toyota maintenance cost, occasional engine blow up, RMS leak, people think it's a ricer car. In all it's all good!

Looks like it's time for an intervention...

However, I'd go for a 996 GT3 in a heartbeat. They are far different animals than a regular 996.
