I was changing rear rotors yesterday and noticed a divot in one of the driver's side control arms. It's the upper rear one that shows up in the parts diagram as 993.331.045.02. This shows as having been superceded by 993.331.045.03.
Ninjabones is selling some used arms, including 993.331.145.03. Is that the same part? I can't find any reference the control arm with the 1 in it.
If it's any comfort, I have a 1995 and used these parts to replace my broken driver's side rear control arms (I left the stock 1995 parts on the passenger side intact). I haven't experienced any evidence of the "death wobble", and under close examination couldn't appreciate any difference in the parts (we did however press ERP monoball cartridges into all the links and lower control arms while "we were in there") and I replaced my rear toe links with the adjustable Tarrett pieces. I couldn't source all the ERP adjustable links (mid season) or I probably would have gone that route.
After a quick search back to refresh my memory, the dimensions are supposedly the same, but the bushings may have changed. So by replacing the rubber with monoballs, you removed that variable.
