Cracked Oil Cooler return line
After many months of oil drips and changing of O-rings, I finally figured out that the return line from the oil cooler had a very small crack in the area where the o-ring seats in the connector block. It turns out that I never really looked that close at the line, but it seems that under pressure, the oil would work its way through the crack and out the block.
Two reasons for this post:
1. If you have a leak, take a look at this area as well and not just o-ring or the oil filter which is just above it.
2. They are not making this line anymore and there seems to be only three (now two) new ones in the USA at this time.
Just thought you should know.
