Saturday 9/13, RL Gathering with C.J....Again

Folks,
I spoke with C.J. last week. He had surgery on his pitching elbow, and will be on IR the rest of the season. He does not travlel with the team so he will NOT be in our area on 9/13/08.
In addition, I have a family-related commitment/conflict for that weekend, so I have to bow out of this gathering. I held off posting the cancellation until I am sure I cannot make it, and now I am sure.
You folks obviously are more than welcomed to keep the party going. I did cancel my reservation for the site, but you can pick it up by calling 408-355-2201, or do so on line here. It costs $241 to book the venue.

Sorry for going AWOL, but this is obviously circumstances beyond my control. Hope that we wil have another one some day.
