Nice 3 spoke steering wheel (just trying to add a little positivity).
Reminds me of the time that my buddy's dad got a Ferrari. When I heard the news, being a car guy, I immediately drove over to their house that night and peered at his new car from about 100 feet away. Appeared to be a nice white 348 from far away. The next day, however, upon closer inspection, it was apparent that this "Ferrari" was built on a Del Sol platform. My favorite parts where the telltale Honda automatic shifter and Ferrari sticker stuck directly on the Honda airbag. That car lasted about a week before his dad became too embarassed to drive it!
The sad part is for $80k you could actually buy a car that would impress people (assuming from the nature of the eBay ad that would be top priority). In fact, you could buy a 993, an E46 M3 and an E39 M5 and have a whole set of sweet cars that are actually authentic!
Takes all kinds. To play devil's advocate, it looks like a lot of effort went into designing the kit, which seems to fit rather well [no dumpy gaps or bumpers falling off, etc]. Would I ever drive the thing let alone pay even the low bid of $55K for it? Neeeeoooooooooooooo thank you. But it's at least got Porsche underpinnings [it's got the classic Porsche V6 right ]
