Deutsche Classic Car Show (**pix**)
Sat. morning (v. early!) we drove the 140 miles to the annual ‘Deutsche Classic Car Show’ in Reading, PA.
There were 200+ cars on show varying from NSU’s, Messerschmitts, Mercedes-Benz, Isettas, BMW’s and Porsche’s to Karman-Ghias and more Volkswagens than you could, literally, shake a stick at!
Two weeks ago, I began to prepare the car for this particular show, even taking a day off work (Fri.), because, as always, the devil really is in the details.
Well, it paid off, coz, …ummm, …I took ‘BEST IN SHOW’. :-)
Enjoy.

Hi Alan,
You're a riot! I'm sporting several 'band-aids' where I _used_ to have skin on my knuckles and my forearms are like Popeye's from all the polishing! The neighbors just shook their heads when they saw me on my back shoving a brillo-pad _inside_ the exhaust tips. Yep, yep, it truly is a sickness (but it's OUR sickness!).
Glad to see you're very much 'on the mend' - considering what you went thru' at the tail-end of last year. Hopefully it's all now just a distant memory and your condition is now just a 'manageable and treatable' condition.
See ya,
Gerry
