95 for 97 C4S? Random question
What would you find acceptable?
I have a 25k mile perfect C4S, PSS9, Ruf oil cooler, s ducts, RS mounts, etc, and considering selling and getting a local 95 NB coupe with about 37k miles. 95 has M030, o/w stock. The extra cash could go to other fun projects (potentially car-related...).
Not set on this plan at all, but what do you think is a reasonable $$ diff?
Thanks.

probably 2o to 25 K difference is price. The 95 does not have varioram. I personally like the way a C2 drives. Can you live without the wide body look? Also the narrow body car will probably not hold it's value as well as the wide body car.

+2 on the $20-$25k range. Are you planning on changing how and what you use the car for? If you drive the car in the city and if you drive it in the winter, you'll miss the C4S. Obviously you'll miss the curves of the WB and the sport seats. That said, the 95 will make the best track car if that's something you're into and even if it's just for spirited driving, the 95 could be more enjoyable since you won't feel the need to baby a garage queen...more guiltless pleasure.

Hey Louis - you must know me! Yeah, still having wussy issues beating a perfectly lovely car, so I won't. The STI and other daily cars are for bad weather, and not a lot of snow in NC where I am..
Looked for a modded GT3 but have dropped that for now after a local one had a price adjustment. Then just kind of got busy and put it on the back burner for a while. Now seeing again what is out there, and a seemingly nice 95 turns up not too far away. So I started to think... If I had a 95, what about....I could use the difference for... 9M, or? ... hmmm.... What's Geoffrey doing with that stuff at this point? etc, etc. It is a completely enjoyable disease.
