Default PPI in Princeton NJ

Anybody know a good place for a PPI in the above? Not the local Porsche dealer.

Thanks for your help gang.

There are no independent shops in the immediate Princeton area. I take my car to Possum Hollow Motorsports in Phoenixville, PA - about an hour away. Bill Boys runs the shop and he is a top notch wrench.

+1 on Possum Hollow for a PPI. I had my '95 inspected there and got a report back that found every tiny detail that need attention; I literally worked off that list to replace missing fastners and other loose bitsa and pieces. Bill and Gary are VERY thourough.

Thanks guys. The dealer is giving me some grief over having a PPI done and an hour away may be a no go. That will kill my interest.

I'm suggesting Gene at Autohaus in Chatham NJ, but he too is approx. 1 hour away from Princeton.

No affiliation of any sort, but the local p dealer seems like a standup guy. Call Alex, the GM, to see if he can work out a compromise? Perhaps a local pca region officer can email you a wrench suggestion.

What kind of car?

Princeton Porsche (if that's who it is) sponsors a number of NNJR PCA events and have regular contact to quite a few very knowledgable members.

Deal is done conditional on a good PPI. Bill Boys of Possum Hollow is going to do the PPI personally.

Wish me luck. This will be the 3rd P Car in my garage. Wife says it's a sickness. Got to sell the red 993 soon or it's going to get a little cool around here.

Bill is great. I'm not sure what type of report will be generated, but you may want to discuss that with him prior to the inspection. For the PPI on my car, a 10 minute conversation with the wrench that did it sufficed. Others expect a detailed report that would make a home inspection report look skimpy. Either way, I trust Bill implicitly with my car.

Thanks Jason. Bill is doing it tomorrow night. I'm going to call him tomorrow to discuss my needs. Since it's a CPO car, I just want to ensure that I'm avoiding the worst case scenario i.e. A crashed car that slipped through unbeknownst.

+1 on Possum Hollow, and good luck with the PPI. Is this the black 993 with body kit that you are looking at? It has clearly been lowered - what other 'mods' does it have?
