Default Help on a part # - Front Bumper Seal

I do not have access to my PET, but I looked up and old receipt and think this is the correct #. The car:

1996 C4 Cabriolet

Front Bumper Seal # 993 505 531 00 I need the one that sits in front of the hood. It sits between the hood and the bumper. Is this the right number? TIA as usual.

Hi Mike,

the PET description for that number is "retaining strip", but I cannot locate the picture.

There is a part called "sealing" which is:

993.505.143.01 sealing
70B black

that part screws in where the front bumper meets the hood. Hope that helps.

Well Here is a pic of what I need. It is the black rubber strip. I think the retaining strip is metal.

Mike - hate to mention this, but guess what I found in my garage today, used, but in excellent shape...?

It was sitting on my engine tray which of course is why I had forgotten about it .

Well thanks for thinking about me anyway. Don't throw it away it may come in handy. If something happens with my order from Sunset I will be in touch. Thanks again.
