How rare are the pastel yellow 993s . . . I may be making an offer on a 1997 low milage one.

FWIW Rare is realy not the proper word, they made more of a lot of othe colors in 97, but they only used pastel on the 97 as a std. color. All other 993s were speed yellow. The only other color to come close was summer yelllow used back in the 70s. Rare--no, beautiful, yes--

Sorry but seen pastel yellow 993s and it is at the bottom of my colour list .
It looks like a really bad faded speed yellow IMHO .

Me likey Pastel Yellow. Where is the car located? I tried contacting the owner of a PY 993 that was listed in the classifieds a few months back but got nowhere. 20,000 miles, 1997, PSS9's, US$40, 000.

Pastel Yellow was a standard color for the '97 model year but obviously not too many examples were ordered up in this color. I have only seen 2 other 993s in this color in person besides mine. I really like PY, much more so than SY. When I park my car next to a SY 993 it makes the SY look like a bottle of French's mustard.
