Speedlines=NB, Twists=WB. Although I love BBS RS-GT's on a WB as well as Ruf's 18 or 19"(I know, I know).

I think the 94" turbo wheels look much better on a widebody.

The RS wheels just don't match on a WB.

+1 on the twists - they do look good. I have simmons wheels on mine but also have a set of twists to interchange.

If you are still undecided based on the feedback then maybe they are not for you.

Good luck with your deliberations.

If you are dead keen on those I would check out the GT2 Speedlines (even more expensive) but make sure they fit as GT2 have fender flares so I am not sure whether they will fit a standard wide body.

They don't.. I've checked it out. You need the GT2 fender flares to make 'em fit. Fronts are 9x18 ET34 and rears are 11x18 ET18 or something very close..

Have them both. Prefer the twists for the 993 C4S.

I had the Speedline Alesio on my 964 for many years and loved the look on there.

The Speedlines are beautiful, however they (1) are on the heavy end of the bell-curve, (2) are a pain to clean and to keep clean, and (3) you will have a challenge finding competent help to repair them if they are damaged in use or simply need rebuilding over time.

IMHO

I personally think although they are good looking wheels they look too busy for the car because of the rear spoiler....IMHO they work much better when the car has a cleaner (ie no spoiler) silhouette. The fact that you are compelled to ask for opinions means your gut is telling you "no" and you want to be convinced that you should buy them. You want them b/c they are great looking and increasingly rare wheels...but IMHO they're just not right for your car.

I think you're on the right track. The best looking wheels for 993 IMO:

RS on buble gum color NB.
RUF on any WB.

Go RUF on your car.

Rufs would be a good choice and IMHO one of the few rims that look good in 19" if you decide to go that way (esp for widebodies). I currently have Techart Formulas and was considering switching to Rufs.
