Price is all over the place I've found. I have seen cars like this priced from a high of 73K to a low of 53K. You have to be ready to buy if you find one priced at the low end. If you don't it will be gone by the time you make up your mind.

Tim, my impression of the two are ..... The 996 is a great car. It's larger, heavier, has a little more power, and "plush" has been added. I enjoyed both my 2004 Anniversary and my 2005 Turbo S. I would recommend the 996 if someone asked me if it was a good car.

The 964 and 993 have always been what a Porsche really is to me. The sound and the looks are what I really liked. The 993, never driven a 964, drives like I hoped it would, a little raw and very nimble. Where the 996 feels heavy the 993 feels light. Where the 996 looks more American the 993 looks more German. I might be different but I enjoy having to pay attention to a cars gauges while I'm driving. In the 996 what gauges that are left really don't need constant monitoring.

These are my personal observations and I'm not saying the 996 is not a good car after all IT IS A PORSCHE.

Keep it! That's beautiful, and your comments about the 996 vs. 993 are what lot of us feel.

Holy ****.....that 4S is off the hook.

If you ever want to unload those cashmere sport seats, I'm your buyer.

Great car, great color. Enjoy her in good health.
