Is the 997 steering wheel a direct replacement on a 993?
Will the 997 steering wheel fit into 993 w/o modification?
I know 996 steering wheels are direct replacements. Anybody try the 997 styles yet?
Thanks.

Doesn't fit. Shafts are different diameters.

I like the 996 3-spoke versions better. But the airbag portion of it is $$. There are so many 996 stock steering wheels to choose from.

It would really look out of place, IMO.
Sometime they look a bit... "bumper-car-ish"...
(Only kidding of course, they fit the new cars well and I really like the alcantara versions. But still... )
