Almost forgot. Sacramento Valley Region PCA has a wine country tour this Sunday, June 22nd. I'm going. Anyone else interested? Should be fun. Check out their web site.

Probably meet around 7:30 - leave by 8. We can meet at the Park and Ride by Black Mtn Road on 280. Then north to 19th Ave, over the Bridge and re-group at the view point on the Marin side to let everyone catch up who might have been separated on 19th Ave. Then we get off for the Hwy 1 exit and head out to the coast. The road is beautiful there and then it follows the inside of Tomales Bay. There is a cool place for BBQ oysters on the shore of the bay.
I will have to figure out the rest of the route. I like the Martinelli winery on River Rd in Santa Rosa, but I don't think the facility is that big depending how many people are going to show up.

I'll give this a free bump by saying that I am in Tahoe this week and biking around the lake I saw what seemed to be a 356 event - lots of beautiful 356cruising on 89 into Tahoe City this afternoon.
That got me thinking that it would be a ton of fun to get a bunch of Bay Area folks together for a local drive - it has been a while for such an event.

It seems pretty firm for Saturday July 12.
Once we get a better handle on the attendees list, we will finalize the jumping off spot and can figure out where to hook up with any others joining us on the way north.
