I don't know if anyone's installed their sat radio like this...took out the ashtray insert and mouted the elbow bracket to the ashtray base with the adhesive base on the bracket.If you position the bracket right..it's a nice fit. Question to all of my friends is...can I hardwire the unit?
I also have my new 18" p zero tires with LA wheels.. think I'm gonna paint the calipers yellow

You can absolutely hard wire it. You can tap into a switched power source or use an ATC Add-a-Circuit. I found some at Autozone. Couldn't find them at Kragen or Pep Boys. You can also get them online.
