Matt,
I briefly posted a disturbing email exchange when Andreas sent me a Craigslist post for a cattle semen container and then decided to pull it since I didn't want to **** him off, despite his triple dog dare. If he gives permission, I may post it, although I don't want to, er, dilute this thread any further.

I swear as God as my witness he sent this Craigslist ad on a cattle semen container that he claims he "stumbled upon". Email addresses have been changed to protect privacy
WTF?

I’m searching the farm + garden listings in MD/VA/PA/DE for a tractor and came across this.
I could have used that in my teens. Would have saved a ****load of tissues.

To complain months later is not unreasonable, because the essential facts are as they are.
When I sued Rennlister Stephenwz968 over the cracked/bent wheels he sold me, the judge wouldn't even look at the evidence and test results once he heard that I'd put them in my cellar over the winter before having the shop check them. Apparently a complaint carries much more weight if it's addressed immediately.

Am I the only one that's still lost about the semen thing and how that got into this thread. I feel dirty.
Seriously.... do either the PO or buyer plan to actually do anything about this? If anyone's thinking of lawyering up (and so far indications are that they are not), I'd suggest for both of you that you stop discussing it in this forum... just a practical matter really.
If you're not, then LET'S GET READY TO RUUUUUMMMMMMMMBBLLLLLLEEEE!!!!
I am one who sees culpability on both ends as the story has unfolded. The only problem for all of us standing on the outside of this is that we really don't have all the details. Good luck to both of you to get over this and move on. Whatever you have to do to get to that point.

Now I am very confused. Did you address the issues to the PO months later or did you decide to post this experience months later? I have to believe you addressed these issues, particularly the paint issues immediately. The most logically place to start would have been calling the mechanic who did the PPI. I would imagine they emailed you the PPI report and discussed it with you in detail before you made the deal. The report should detail each area that was checked with a rating on condition. So, if they rate the paint an 8 out of 10 and the paint is actually a 5 you should take that up with the place you had PPI performed. If you based the condition of the paint soley from pics and PO opinion then what was the purpose of the PPI?

OK people, let's get real here.
I honestly described the car the way I see it.
It's a DE car, not a concours car. I included the wheels that were the best set for DE's, and if he wants center caps for those wheels, I'd be happy to send them to him. Sorry I didn't vacuum out the interior before the car was picked up. Does that really affect the value?
At any time before the purchase, Matt could have personally inspected the car. Is it my fault that he didn't? Or had a Rennlister look it over for him? Is that my fault?
What was I supposed to do differently?
And now here we are, MONTHS later, and instead of taking the responsibility for what he now feels was a bad decision, he's blasting my honesty and ethics in this public forum.
Matt, I'm honestly sorry you don't like the car, but you have total responsibility for this totally-avoidable misunderstanding.
