Let's see here, this subject have been beaten to death.

All previous 911s have no engine tray until the 964, and 993 and then 996, 997 no more trays.

Cup cars have no trays, GT-3 have no trays.... There is a reason why they are called the "Engine sound tray"

There is no doubt that the car warms up faster and runs hotter in everyday driving with the tray on. I put it on and take it off when I change winter tires to summer tires.

Default engine tray

I was just under my car for the first time the other day, checking on the muffler type, and noticed the tray was on.

Looks like I'm going to have to research this.....
