Suspension, suspension, suspension. Most bang for the buck.

I'd also suggest the keyless entry mod. $30 and you can get a remote to lock and unlock your 993.
Who do I give this $30 to? I would love to have a remote.

Get your windows tinted. Hated the constant onlookers and feeling like I was driving in a fish bowl.

Suspension. 18inch rims and tires. Steering Rack brace. Exhaust.

That should set you back $5k easy and get you good and greased for the ride down the slope.

The RS motor mounts replace the big sloppy stock ones (which are usually shot anyway). They are firmer and prevent the engine from moving around so much in hard cornering. This sounds like a track only mod but it adds to a tighter, more connected feel in the car on the street.

There are many choices when considering suspension, lots of posts here, do a search and read up on them. It is by far the best upgrade but I wouldn't wait too long. These cars have a reputation for worn out stock shocks. My '95 had about 54K on it when I bought it, and when I replaced the shocks about 6 months later all four corners were shot. I could press the shaft all the way down into the cylinders with the palm of my hand and they would stay there!

Also wise to test drive other 993s with different set ups and see what you prefer. I was in ATL a couple of weeks ago on business. Had I known you were considering the mods I would have let you drive mine to see how you liked that set up.

if you're going for looks i'd swap the nose out for the euro turbo bumber. thats next for me i think after i did wheels, tires, shifter, brake handle, steering wheel, suspension, new top, gt3 seats...

the LW Fly Wheel has my attention now...

and per my signature below, yes i am stupid enough to drop 14K for 20 HP on 3.8L RS engine mod... so maybe don't listen to me...
