Went out for a drive over the weekend. Best therapy during these times.

I fully concur, and take mine out for drives regularly for the same reason. Not only driving it, but just looking at it when parked somewhere, gives me such joy.

from my point of view at that time it was way more refined the 993 turbo new version of the wing, nowadays I must confess I think the turbo S aerokit is probably lighter and more part of the design than the first version.
The 993 RS m002 wing probably is the best wing ever designed for an air cooled 911 (my personal opinion), on the yellow car I'm going to install the M003 aerokit for aerodynamic purpose, conscious it looks way uglier than the M002, even though many people like the concept "the bigger the better" or "the more aggressive, the better"...I really appreciate the lines of the 993 in silver, after a couple years of a bit doubts , I think it gives the car a sort of "out of time" stand.

Then as a way of saying porsche enthusiast use to say "slim" or "widebody" to define which car they are referring, but I must say, all the 911 except few examples, are born slim, so I think it is redundant, incorrect and probably not necessary at all referring to the slim saying it is slim...because that version is the base design version, from which the car was then developed in its other variants.

it should be called just 993, while the others should be called widebody or whatever.

the purity of the design in its presentation version was so successful that even the wide version looked still balanced in its design, less harmonic, but still enjoyable.

it is really rare that a modified - i.e. wide version - of a certain organic designed car could still look so beautiful.

by the way, the way the 993 (the slim for those who continue to call the 993 this way, otherwise they would have presented the wide version as the standard model and then the slim) looks, to me, is still unbeatable (from a very design point of view).

it has the purity of a bauhaus concept: once a concept/design has achieved perfection, any other modification would move apart from it.

C2S, not C4S. Prior owner painted it yellow, and I am glad he did. #412 is the back view.
