Added Aluminum Tiptronic Shift **** & Shift Boot - Photo
I add an OEM aluminum shift **** (Part No. 993 426 981 04) and upgraded with a better looking shift boot thanks to Yuji (WarpMan). Next, new e-brake lever.

It is a Atiwe 340mm black full leather steering wheel with custom silver stitching. It is not for a tiptronic. I shift manually using the console shifter. With the buttons on the wheel I would occasionally hit a button by mistake and send the RPMs through the roof.
Gert sells them new, but they are very expensive; http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p036.htm They are curently 1095 Euros or $1727.43 US plus the hub plus shipping.
Here is the link I posted after buying and installing it. Has a better photo in this link too.

Nice! Can you tell me how to get this boot and shifter for my tiptronic?

Tiptronic gear shift
Hi
Love your aluminum gear shift. Where did you get it from please, I've been looking everywhere but can't find it. I would really appreciate your help.

Following this thread, I 3D-modeled the 993 tiptronic shifter and got some quotes to print it. Plastic 3D printing is very cheap and costs <$50 but metal 3D printing is still quite high and comes to $300-$400. The best way might still be to use a good old metal lathe or CNC manufacturing but the costs aren't as cheap as I had hoped. If someone has an extra $400 burning their pocket or knows a cheaper way to manufacture, I am happy to send them my 3D model (no guarantee the part fits). Until then, here is a rendeering of my part:

Many years ago we used to make/sell these;
The problem with making all things like this is quantities, minimum of 100 pieces probably, there is not the demand for that

I'm just looking for a replacement top circle piece, but would like
something maybe with a porsche crest rather than a plain black plug.
