Thanks for the reply, Bob. Yes, you had pointed out the new windshield. I'm guessing that's not a good DIY fix.

Well, I think it must be the windshield. Can't believe I hadn't noticed this.

I even drive my cab in the rain, top up of course.
Just keep it over 50 mph and the rain won't get in the car. The problem is summer thunderstorms in the summer in the mountains. The other cars slow down and I get wet!
Hey bart, what color is aDventurine?

You know, I thought that's what it was. Apparently, I was mistaken!

If you have water seeping underneath the windscreen seal, make sure to have the seal and screen removed by a good bodyshop, and have them look for rust.

I had the same issue on my 964. From the outside it looked like an innocent bit of surface corrosion, but when we removed the screen there was water and rust all over the inside.

A ticking bomb!

Check the drain tube of the AC, I had the same problem: when stting the fan at high the water actually splashed inside the car, the AC drain tube was blocked...

Took it to an auto glass place and they said the issue I have would not cause water to get in the vents. Drain tube is looking most likely.

My car is in the body shop. Blowing out the AC drain may have fixed it, as after I did this I didn't notice any more water in vent. However, I didn't drive it in any hard rain after that. The slight rain I did drive in is what sent my car to the body shop.

Judging from your pics of your windshield seal, it is NOT installed correctly, and even if you don't get cabin water leaks because of it, you probably will have water inside the windshield frame...and then rust.
