I hope he gets it. I have the same car -96 C4S, black on black. Mine came from the dealer with front euro turbo bumper and rear turbo spoiler, aluminum gauges, factory motorsound, etc (83.5k sticker), has been modified to M030 suspension/ride hieght, carbon fibre/leather steering wheel, aluminum/carbon fibre shifter, ebrake, carbon fibre console, door panels, door pulls(inside handle to open), lower dash, full leather custom dash, speaker grills, gauge bezels, rear deck, vents, and speaker grills. Carbon Fibre front suspension bar, new 18 inch chrome turbo wheels, litronic headlights, techart exhaust, 4 tailpipes, short shifter, GT3 leather seats, upgrades stereo($2500 in rec.). Valves and guides ($7400) redone 3K miles ago and clutch 10K miles ago, turbo rear ducts added, fresh red calipers (others 'faded'),custom front grill work, 3M clear protectant on all forward body panels, 60K miles - I have all of the reciepts for maintenace and upgrades (over 60K in work), clean car fax etc.

I paid $38500 for my car. I would do backflips to see this one go for $48K. I know I got a screaming good deal, and I have been watching some very standard C4S's hit the market. I do not think that the price is outragous and am rooting for the guy.

Yes - you got a good deal - and yes the price on the aforementioned car is a decent price. I for one - hope he gets it.

I would do backflips too if I made $10,000 on a $40,000-or-so car.

I think you're being a little greedy on the price. (I hope you don't mind a candid opinion.) Instead of making ten grand, make five and get a quick and painless sale.

My two cents. (And I just bought an almost identical C4S, so I would be your target audience.)

Smiles,

I am not selling my car, SM Racing is. His is a very fine example and I think he will sell it for or around the asking price. I have no idea what he has in it, but it is a very fine example and I think it is priced right. I would not sell mine for $48K today, I am not in the mood to sell and have no idea what I would by if I did.

Thanks

Thanks for the correction.

I probably should redact my opinion. I know less than others about the market, and I shouldn't characterize anyone as greedy. I apologize.

Good luck, SM Racing, on the sale!

Nice, but pretty optimistic pricing.
