Default Battery for 993 amp?

How many amp battery is in our cars. Sorry for the newbie question.

The battery size is group 48, which are typically in the CCA 700 range ( cold cranking amps) .... plenty to meet the needs of a 993 - unless there are quad 12" woofers and a gazillion watts of amps behind them .

In Porsche "Less is more". Lighter battery reduces overall weight and increases agility. This is my personal recommendation indeed, not Porsche official. Some people from Rennlist recommend Optima batteries http://www.optimabatteries.com/

Interstate has an excellent Group 48 battery.
