Default Wind stop for sale - $375+shipping

Windstop from my 1996 C2 for sale. It is in very good condition and comes inthe zip up case. I will post some pics in a bit. I have some other items for sale and have had replies to those. I am going down the list and will contact those who replied if I do not get payment for them.

I will post pics in a bit of the windstop.

Tach with V-1 display in it -

I also have a tach with a V-1 display in it. I will post a pic in a bit.

Thanks

I'll take it if 'sdcabrio' does not.

Um...no parts - I guess you are talking about the parts that are inside the car?? I have sold the car, the windstop is just the part that come out - I am uploading pics now.

Kcreager, PM sent. I'll take it.

As for parts......I read somewhere on here that someone jumped at buying one of these used and wound up spending extra $$ on getting some clips, or snaps, or brackets, etc. from dealership and in the end could have bought it all new from the dealership for less.

I don't know, maybe it was the other type that can fit in the 993, but is more common in the earlier models.

I went through this with my cab a while back ... there are two versions, one for the car that is equipped from the factory for the windstop, and one for the car that is not.

The car that is properly equipped will have the correct receivers for the windstop on the top frame, and the zipper to attach it already in the headliner. Not sure if the receivers are standard on all the top frames, but I think that the two are not really interchangable, as Suncoast initially sent me the incorrect one and it wouldn't install (mine had the zipper in the headliner) -- I needed the one that looks like the one for sale here.

VJ,

Thanks for the post. I do have the zipper on my headliner and it looks as though the top frame has mounting point for this. I'm pretty confident that this should work well with my car.

I just hate it when I do an impulse buy on the web,....then just end up with something that sits in my garage for a year only to be sold on ebay for a little less than I paid originally. (Hasn't happened often, but more than once)

Cute models
The install is not obvious though ( at least it was not to me )
PM me if you have any questions.
