Default Transmission repair--all done!

A short while back, my 95 began popping out of 5th gear. It would shift into 5th no problem, but as soon as I released the clutch, the gear lever popped back to neutral. My favorite shop, Precision Motion in Riverside, CA, dropped the transmission and disassembled it to identify the problem. It turned out that the pinch bolt for the 5th/6th gear shift fork was loose, just about finger tight, and over time let the shift fork move around, hence the problem.

Just got it back from the shop, all new synchros (just in case), and a new guide sleeve for 5th/6th gears. Shifting is now perfect, even better than before--the occasional little crunch when shifting from 2nd to 3rd is gone. Less than $2800, which I think is very reasonable, and top quality work. They even reset my clock and radio code.
