Sorry, massive brain fart! I just check out in the garage (whereas my inital post was off my aging memory). There appears to be two pieces of fender liner: front half the goes to about 12:00, then rear portion that goes down to about the height of the frame member. So YES, you do see the muffler can. Sorry about the confusion all ...my apologies!

I'll check again but I don't think I have any rear liners. I'll need to verify and than order the parts from Sunset (no affil ya da ya da ya da).

All 993s will have the front of the mufflers exposed - regardless of where your third brake light is mounted.
Each wheel well has two main sections of liner that are joined at the top. The rear-most liner (in the rear wheel wells) is formed to clear the mufflers and end at the lowest point of the rear bumper.

You guys are cracking me up.
Must've never even seen an undertray. Had mine off all winter but pretty sure that with the tray on you can't see the muffler because it comes up ton each side....
