Hi, I need tol replace my 993 C4S rear suspension (long story), not in an ax.

Anyway, would a 993 TT rear suspension be an exact replacement ? I assume the 993 TT sway bar back there is tougher than the 993 C4S.

My understanding is that they are exactly the same.

The TT springs are a touch firmer.

C4S sway bar is 18mm, TT is 19mm.

Porsche beefed up the control arms in 1996 so that they're all the same for the turbo and non-turbo. You should check the Parts Katalogue PDFs for specifics like part numbers.

I was just thinking of that (control arms). I wonder if the 1996 993 C4S and 993 TT share rear hub carriers too ?

My Porsche dealer tech says the rear Side Section Structures (that the rear control arms go to, and the rear axle goes through, are the same for all the 993 models. I would think though the axle is different between the 993 C4S and the 993 TT ?
